The
“Handbook of Micromachining” is designed to
serve as a general purpose reference for the field of
laser micromachining. Instead of using the traditional
printed format, we have selected a more dynamic web-based
format. In order to bring you the latest developments
in this fast progressing technology, this handbook is
periodically updated by our staff.
A
TOTALLY NEW WAY TO MICROMACHINE MATERIALS!
Solve
your intractable micromachining problem using this exciting
technology. The UMW-21XX is designed for use in a clean
room environment. See the Micromachining Handbook to find
out how the UMW-21XX can help you solve your unique micromachining
needs.

This
product protected under US patent numbers 5,530,582; 5,572,358;
5,592,327; 5,594,256; 5,617,434. Other US and foreign patents
pending.

Warranty
Oscillator
parts, including the diode laser, are warranted for 40,000
hours or five (5) years, whichever comes first. For details,

Seventeen
years of experience with ultrashort pulse lasers conbined
with hundreds of real-world projects and years of processing
know-how has led to our latest generation of femtosecond
micromachining workstations. The UMW-Series includes
everything you need to start micromachining with ultrashort
pulsed lasers. This design benefits from our seven years
of experience learning the right combination of components,
performance parameters, and software needed to micromachine
materials with ultrashort pulses of light. The Model
UMW-Series provides ample space for custom beam delivery
and manipulation, includes a sophisticated machine vision
and inspection system, and complete computer control.
The software interface uses the industry-standard G-Code
format found in most CNC machines, providing powerful
and intuitive access to all systems functionality through
our i-Series Regen Amplifiers.
